learning opportunity.

Expedition Behavior:
South Bay Trekking Company places great importance on the safety, enjoyment, and learning
experience of the entire group.  Proper expedition behavior is expected at all times.
Participants should be respectful of others’ values and beliefs, be willing to work as a team,
and maintain a positive attitude even in adverse conditions.  Harassment in any form will not be
tolerated.  Participants must adhere to Leave No Trace principles during all trips.  Use of illegal
drugs and smoking are not permitted at any trip or event.

Physical Fitness:
South Bay Trekking Company reserves the right to require physician approval as well as deny
participation upon reviewing the medical history.

Our trips vary greatly in skill and fitness required.  We will always do our best to accurately
describe trip requirements on the website to aid self-evaluation.  Because of our strong belief
in outdoor education, you will find most of our trips to be introductory in nature and appropriate
for everyone.

Outdoor activities are a great way to maintain fitness, but not to begin “getting in shape.”
Participants should adequately condition and prepare for each trip.  Please contact us if you
have any doubts or questions.

All participants will be asked to fill out and sign a release of liability, and photo release form.
