About Us
Who We Are
What We Believe
Leisure is an essential part of daily life for humans.  It has the capability to expand minds, fulfill
lives, maintain and revive mental and physical health, and much more.  Outdoor adventure and
ecotourism are two vehicles that can deliver all of those qualities.  When done in a responsible
manner, outdoor adventure and ecotourism not only enrich individual human lives, but bring
diverse cultures together and sustain the environments in which they exist.

Seven Leave No Trace Principles
  • Plan ahead and prepare
  • Travel and camp on durable surfaces
  • Dispose of waste properly
  • Leave what you find
  • Minimize campfire impacts
  • Respect wildlife
  • Be considerate of other visitors

From the International Ecotourism Society:
Those who implement and participate in responsible tourism activities should follow the
following ecotourism principles:
  • Minimize impact
  • Build environmental and cultural awareness and respect
  • Provide positive experiences for both visitors and hosts
  • Provide direct financial benefits for conservation
  • Provide financial benefits and empowerment for local people
  • Raise sensitivity to host countries' political, environmental, and social climate
